Establishing an Efficient Education Setting addresses five important topics in a manner to cater to the language, science, social science, and art classrooms, of young learners as well as adult, average and challenged learners, and of the educators and the administrators that make up the educational setting. The topics of teaching-learning styles in the classroom, classroom management, effective use of tools in the classroom, appropriate methodologies are addressed as means to carry out effective teaching to ensure enhanced learning opportunities.
Chapter One, Teaching and Learning Styles in the Classroom, introduces the teaching-learning cycle and worked with the basic assumptions present in the conventional classroom, the experiential classroom, and the cooperative classroom.
Chapter Two, Managing the Classroom, stresses that the classroom was a part of a whole, which extends from the student to the teacher, the school, the family and the community to which the school belonged.
Chapter Three, Using Tools Effectively in the Classroom, emphasizes the positive ways that students can be motivated to learn in a pleasant atmosphere.
Chapter Four, Implementing Appropriate Methodologies in the Classroom, exposes different approaches to ensuring student-centered teaching of Mathematics, language, geography, and history.
Chapter Five, Evaluating Performance within the Classroom, describes how to apply reasoning in the design, and correction of a test.
The book is the fruit of a ten-seminar series on Establishing an Efficient Education Setting held across Notre Dame University’s three campuses from January unit June 2005
