Water may be a reason for an upcoming world war. The book sheds light on the im-portance of water and environmental en¬ergy through research that studied the ten- year plan for the provision of water sources and resources and sustainable de¬velopment in Lebanon and the Middle East. The research also dealt with the rationing of water and recycling in the industrial sec¬tor, regional challenges and methods of treating water and environmental re¬sources. The book is supplemented with charts and figures upon which most of the published research is based. It forms the first research-based product of the Water, Energy and Environment Research Center (WEERC) that was recently established at Notre Dame University-Louaize. قد تكون المياه سببًا لحرب عالميّة مقبلة. والكتاب يسلّط الأضواء على أهميّة الطاقة المائيّة والبيئيّة من خلال أبحاث تناولت الخطّة العشريّة لتأمين مصادر المياه، والموارد المائيّة والتنمية المستدامة في لبنان والشرق الأوسط، وترشيد المياه وإعادة التدوير في قطاع الصناعة، والتحديّات الإقليميّة وأساليب معالجة الموارد المائيّة والبيئيّة. وهو معزّز بالجداول البيانيّة والأرقام التي تستند إليها معظم الأبحاث المنشورة. ويشكّل أوّل إنتاج بحثيّ لمركز دراسات الطاقة المائيّة والبيئيّة الذي تأسّس حديثًا في جامعة سيّدة اللويزة.
