في هذا الكتاب نطرح السؤال الذي لا جواب له على طريق المنطق، منطق النجاح والفشل.
هو السؤال الإنسانيّ الذي لايعرف له منطق إلأ حين يتغلّب قرار التحرّر الإنسانيّ، وصدق الحبّ، والإنعتاق من عبوديّة الذات الأنانيّة على كلّ منطق آخر.
فالجامعة هنا، هي القرار، قرار قبوليّة التحرّر، والتمسّك به والإعلاء من شأنه. وهي مكان صيانة هذا القرار من خلال إفساح المجالات المعرفيّة التي تسمح للإنسان أن يرتقي نحو إخوته في الإنسانيّة بالتركيز على ورشة الصيانة هذه. أمّا الأخوة في الإنسانيّة، فهم الذين سيكون عليهم مثله أن يتركوا انتماءهم العائليّ البدئيّ ليبنوا معه، كمواطنين، المجتمع الذي يحميهم كأفراد وجماعات ذوي انتماءات مختلفة من العودة عن قرارهم. وهم أيضًا الذين سيكون عليهم أن يمتنوا آليات التواصل والتعاضد فيما بينهم لتحصين قرارهم، ومن أجل توفير نوعيّة حياة فضلى للجميع، أي حياة عادلة ومتساوية لكلّ أفراد المجتمع، مهما تعدّدت أصولهم وثقافاتهم وأديانهم ومشاربهم.

In this book, entitled Universitas, Educació and the Future of Societal Thought in a Contemporary World, we ask the question, which has no logical answer - be it the logic of success or failure.
It is the human question, which knows no logic except for the decision of Man’s freedom, love and sincerity, and the emancipation from the bondage of the egoist self, conquering all other forms of logic. University means the decision to accept, uphold, and elevate the concept by one that accepts to be liberated. University is the place where this decision is maintained by offering knowledge, allowing Man to elevate himself toward his bothers in humanity. Those brothers will have to leave their primary family affiliation behind to build a society as citizens with man, which protect them as individuals and groups of different affiliations, from changing their decision. They should also attempt to strengthen communication and mechanisms of cooperation among them in order to reinforce their decision and offer a better quality of life for all - a life in which justice and equality reigns among all members of society whatever their origin, culture, religion, and affiliation.
