This guide contains curated resources that pertain to the theme of this year’s International Open Access Week (OAW), climate justice. It highlights open-access publications, such as books, journal titles, journal articles, theses, in different media types that are published under an Open Access license. It also lists some Open Access repositories in which users can find an abundant number of resources that are freely available to the public. The guide also highlights resources that are available at Notre Dame University-Louaize Libraries which are relevant to climate justice. Furthermore, despite being irrelevant to the OAW theme, the guide features the Heinz Gaube Lebanese Architectural Photographs Collection which includes a rich collection related to the heritage of traditional Lebanese architecture that is made freely available, to assert NDU Libraries’ contribution to the Open Access movement.
The Notre Dame University-Louaize Institutional Repository, known as DSpace, is a digital archive of the university's intellectual output accessible to others worldwide over the Internet. The institutional Repository contains a collection of research and publications written by academic authors, students, staff, alumni and research groups that have sufficient quality to be collected and preserved by the Library but which are not controlled by commercial publishers.
