 TITANIC SAILING ROUTE
This map depicts the sailing route of the Titanic from its port of departure until it sank in the Atlantic Ocean. The green marker indicates Southampton Port in the UK, where the Titanic set sail on 10 April 1912. Grey markers indicate the sailing route of the Titanic while red ones indicate its sinking location on 15 April 1912. The yellow marker indicates Pier 59 at the Hudson River in New York where the Titanic was destined to arrive. The grey and red markers are each linked to a painting that describes the tragedy in an artistic way. Blue markers indicate the towns where Lebanese passengers on board the Titanic came from. The passengers are grouped by survivors and casualties. These towns are searchable using the search feature available on the top right corner of the map.
