The Digital Humanities aspect was added to the Gaube project with the aim of making the collection more accessible, interactive and visual. All known villages, towns and cities were located on an open source map that is searchable in English and Arabic with links to the corresponding photos for each location on the online media platform. The result gave the historical collection a new cutting edge geographical dimension.
