2. How much will it cost for me to use ILL?

Many ILL requests are supplied at no cost from reciprocal lending libraries. However, not all materials are available for free. All costs for ILL requests are absorbed by the library, except for Alumni. If an Alumni request was not supplied for free, the requestor will be informed about the cost prior to processing he request. The cost might range from zero to LBP 103.500 (USD 69).

3. What can I request through the Inter-Library Loan service?

4. How do I submit an Inter-Library Loan request?

  • Requests for Inter-Library Loans are now made online using ClioWeb. (Note: The Library does not accept paper, email or phone requests for Inter-Library Loans).
  • When using ClioWeb, first time users must register for an account, which will be confirmed by library staff. Click here for instructions on how to use CLIOweb.
  • To ensure that the item you need to request is not already available in the library collection, check the Library Catalog, the Library's A-Z list of print and electronic journals and  Summon, (the discovery tool that simultaneously searches the majority of NDU's subscribed databases)  before completing an ILL request form.
  • You must provide full bibliographic information of the item you want to request as incomplete or inaccurate information can cause a delay to the process.
